How Did Be Hempy Begin?
Our story began in 2014. At that time, through a combination of circumstances, we came across revolutionary and shocking information in the field of health. This information was supported by records going back as far as 10 thousand years. We discovered that human civilisation was already using industrial hemp for various purposes at that time. We also found that even then, people were exploring how hemp could help people be healthier.
Another fact is that 70 years ago the pharmaceutical industry carefully ensured that industrial hemp was criminalised (hidden from view). Is it a coincidence that industrial hemp was criminalised? Of course, this is not a coincidence. It was a carefully executed activity to protect pharmaceutical interests, because the pharmaceutical industry needs sick people and does not want healthy people. It does not want someone to stay healthy with the help of nature, because then business does not flow.
And that is when our story began. We were the first to place products made from safe industrial hemp on shop shelves in the Slovenian market. We have permits from the Ministry of Agriculture and the Administration for Food Safety for this. These are therefore products that are completely safe, tested and supervised by Slovenian institutions.
We also have our own industrial hemp fields and produce the raw material ourselves. In order to plant industrial hemp at all, we had to obtain a permit from the Ministry of Agriculture. The ministry specifies exactly which seeds we may plant so that this is safe for the consumer. This means that the process is carefully supervised by various institutions.
